Experience Maze Lumber has the most experienced team in the building industry in north central Illinois. From helping our contractor customers to assisting the senior group with just a storm door or replacement windows, we're there to offer our professional advice. We have the experience and knowledge to find the products the consumer needs for all their projects. Maze Lumber has the area's most knowledgeable person in Bill Justi to answer all your fireplace, stove and pipe questions. Bill is an expert regarding gas and wood units. Special Orders A large part of Maze Lumber's business is in special orders. Those include but are not limited to: windows, interior doors, exterior doors, millwork, shingles, countertops, shutters, long lengths framing lumber, siding and hard to find products. We've been doing special orders for so long it is second nature to us. We make the special order procedure painless and pleasant. {Back to top of page}
Estimating We will provide material take-offs on house plans and commercial projects. Depending on the workload and complexity of the project, the turnaround time varies. If you provide us with a material list we can almost always provide a price to you by the next day. We also offer a drafting service for your new home or remodeling project. The rate is affordable and the plans are neatly done giving the customer a good idea of their project's final look. Maze Lumber has computer programs to help figure your decks, garages, home material lists and suspended ceilings needs. We can also computer design your dream kitchen. {Back to top of page}
On-Site Measuring We assist our contractors and homeowners with on-site measuring services. We will measure for: trusses, all types of millworks, roofing projects, countertops, and cabinets and decks. We take the hurt out of mis-measured special orders. We take the responsibility off of your shoulders and put it squarely on ours. As you can imagine, this is a huge relief for our builders and homeowners. Contractor Services We pride ourselves in providing our contractors with the best possible building products available at fair pricing. We deliver promptly with our courteous yard sales force with state of the art equipment. We make ourselves available to the builder and his customer to help them both make the best decisions for their projects. Cabinets Maze Lumber has one of the areas nicest custom cabinet displays. We feature the Woodharbor cabinet line, offering customers a huge variety of pre-finished cabinet styles in numerous wood species. Doors-Windows-Molding We are always looking for newer, better products. We are not afraid to try stocking something new. If we find a product that does not meet our standards, we drop it. We don't like problems -we try to minimize them. If a product doesn't serve its stated purpose we replace it with something that will work. {Back to top of page}
Equipment- Boom, Scissors, Fork, Saw, and Tractor Maze Lumber has the best vehicles to get material to your job site. We have 2 boom trucks (with remote), a scissors truck, 2 dump trucks, 2 closed vans, one with a Tommy lift, and other small economical trucks ready to get your deliveries to you in a timely fashion. Our yard is equipped with 3 forklifts and 2 tractors for bulk loading. We have a table saw, panel saw and radial arm saw in house ready to rough cut your lumber and sheet goods. {Back to top of page}
Problem Solving When we do encounter problems, we don't walk away, we confront the problem. We then begin solving the problem with the cooperation of our supplier and our customer. Forgetting problems doesn't serve anyone, we want them fixed so we can move on! {Back to top of page}
